There was a time when safety felt out of reach—not just uncertain, but nonexistent.
I know what it’s like to live in survival mode. To move through systems meant to protect you and still feel invisible. To rebuild life without support, without direction, and without a safe place to land.
That isn’t a distant story. That’s where this began.
I come from a family rooted in law enforcement, which gave me an early understanding of how protection is supposed to work—and how sometimes it fails the people who need it most.
Instead of turning away, I stepped into it.
I became a trained and certified advocate, determined to be the person I once needed.
But this mission didn’t stop with people.
I saw the same pattern with animals—especially cats who were abandoned, neglected, or labeled “unadoptable.”
Left behind. Overlooked. Without a safe place to go.
So I created one.
Today, this nonprofit is built on a simple but urgent truth:
No one—human or animal—should be left without safety.
We provide sanctuary for cats who have nowhere else to turn. At the same time, we are building transitional housing and support systems for survivors of violent crime—spaces where healing can begin.
Because escaping harm is only the first step.
Having somewhere safe to go after—that’s what changes everything.
